I've had pain in my jaw and shoulder for quite some time and have tried chiropractic, pain management with injections and physical therapy without much success. I was taking ibuprofen several times a day for some relief. Now, after acupuncture treatments I am almost completely without pain and seldom have to take anything for pain relief. I enduring a jolt to my coccyx(tailbone), and was feeling pain almost continuously. Kurt was referred to me by a very satisfied client, who had tremendous success with her knees, and so I called and came in for treatment. Kurt recommended so many treatments and I started them that very day. The relief was almost instantaneous. I was able to sit comfortably for a long period of time, sleep better and awaken refreshed. I am 73 years old and have been battling rheumatoid arthritis for over 40 years. After a fall I broke some ribs and then starting having sciatica. Four years ago I had a laminectomy of my lower back. Five months later I had a car wreck and was ordered to have physical therapy. Seven months later I lost the use of my left side. After three MRIs they found the vertebra in my neck had deteriorated and were cutting off the nerves in my spinal cord. I had surgery to stabelize my neck... I was in so much pain it was hard to do normal tasks... 6 weeks ago I started having acupuncture and I am able to lead a more normal life. The one thing that others notice is I am able to stand straighter and walk much better.

I would recommend anyone that has had pain to go to the New Braunfels Acupuncture and see Kurt Hein. I have been suffering pain in my feet for many many years. I have had two operations on my feet and have worn orthodics for over 15 years. I got to the point that I now wear braces inside my shoes to keep my feet in alignment, and have taken oral steroids. I have done everything short of more surgery so I thought I would try acupuncture. That was the best thing I could have done. If you want to live with pain go ahead but if you want to try and alleviate the severity and intensity of pain then try acupuncture. I am glad that I have and will continue to go so that I can walk with a smile on my face.
